Okay, so you said to meet you here and now what?

Is the tree rich with such fruit and more, dare one partake.

What you present, love, is temptation and god, would I bite

Would it be enough to sit beneath Eden ’s shadetree –

To give of 1/3rd of what I want, what you want (would 1/3rd be enough?)

Would one kiss do the job, or does that cross the bounds of impropriety

- you tell me.

For all the lectures, for all the nos, and nons, we gravitate regardless –

“Two moths around a flame,” she said.

So what then of this orchard where I know the fruit would be sweet.

Take a bite; now tell me you don’t care.
